We are The Hubb Foundation: An independent and socially-inclusive charity dedicated to supporting families and communities in creating happy, healthy school holidays.
Through a number of different projects, we work with a broad range of businesses and organisations across Stoke-on-Trent to give disadvantaged children and their families the opportunity to access much-needed free provision.
Middleport Matters is a community organisation which aims to help make Middleport a safer, more welcoming and thriving place to be.
Our Aims:
To bring people together and improve sense of belonging
To improve the health and wellbeing of local people
To improve the built and natural environment and enhance the local reputation
To support local business and encourage employment and enterprise
Our goal is to provide relief for those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage for families & communities in Stoke-on-Trent & it’s surrounding areas, through the provision of emergency food, essential toiletries, a food larder and other essential items, and by offering support to other organisations and charities that are working to prevent and relieve poverty.
Our Space is a charity that provides social and recreational opportunities for children, young people and adults with disabilities. We offer a range of sessions throughout the week, catering for a range of different age groups. Activities include popular family session on a Saturday afternoon where the whole family can come and enjoy our facilities at The Brook Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The Brook Centre has more than an acre of outside space, an indoor soft play area, a large kitchen and fully accessible toilet facilities. We also provide play schemes during the school holidays and Family Fun Days.
Caudwell Children run FANTASTIC, FREE, FUN opportunities for children and young people with a disability.
SHORT BREAKS are activities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, run to enable them to have fun, spend time with friends and build upon their confidence and skills, in a safe, inspiring and welcoming environment.
Our vision is to enable every disabled child and young person to access fun, inspirational and challenging leisure activities.
Family Fund believes that families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people should have the same choices, quality of life, opportunities and aspirations as wider families. We try to make this happen every day by:
