  • Governors

The role of a school governor is to contribute to the work of the governing board in ensuring high standards of achievement for all children and young people in the school by:

    • setting the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction
    • holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils
    • overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.

The Full Governing Body at Watermill School meets once a term. Two committees feed into this meeting consisting of a Curriculum and Resources meeting.

Our Governors are listed below. If you need to contact one of them please send a letter into school for their attention.

I find being part of the Governing body of Watermill School to be a privilege, as the ethos of the school is child focussed and centred around the students achieving their full potential.
