News Update 6th November.

Please download our new school App by following the link on the Home page of the website. It will keep you up to date with the latest news at Watermill. I keep tempting fate by saying that no pupils or staff have been tested positive at our school, despite many families having the virus and pupils accordingly having to stay home for 14 days. The National Lockdown has brought a few extra restrictions in for us here at school. Year 7 pupils and above are now expected to wear masks in corridors and we are happy that they keep them on in class too. We realise that some of our older pupils are not able to do this, but if they can they will be asked to. Younger pupils of course can do this also if they are able. Please send your child in with a mask that is washed regularly to help us keep to this new requirement from the government. All pupils should wear masks on school transport if they can, but this again depends on individuals circumstances. All parents should be wearing masks on site unless enclosed on your car, and can I ask you minimise the time you spend on site to picking up and dropping off only. The Christmas production this year will be a two minute video from each class that we will link together. We can not publish this because of privacy laws but will try to get you a copy of your child's class video so you can show close friends and family only. Can I assure you that we have implemented many, many new procedures in school to keep your children safe and these can be seen on the whole school risk assessment on the Covid -19 section of our website. Mr May
