On May tth 2015, School was closed for students for the General Election as the school was a polling center.

John Collier, a trainer from the Britannia Teaching School Alliance spent the day working alongside the support staff, sharing good practice and allowing them time to work with each other to understand the diversity of their roles at Watermill School.

The training was extremely well received with the feedback forms proving exemplary in all areas. A thoroughly recommended day.
