12th Nov Positive Case in KS3/4 Bubble

Dear Parents/Carer We have today had a report from Public Health England of a positive case of Covid-19 in the KS3/4 Bubble. You will have already been contacted directly by phone if this affects your child. All pupils either did not attend today or left the school to return home upon arrival. Many thanks to all parents and carers concerned, this went very smoothly despite it being at a busy time of day. If we have contacted you, your child should isolate at home until Monday 23rd November. The rest of your family can continue about its business unless you, your child or your family display the symptoms of a new persistent cough, temperature or lost of taste and smell. Please inform the school if you have symptoms and results of any tests. A letter can be found on the Covid -19 section of our website directed at all pupils who were sent home to isolate today. The one you should read is: Request to Isolate in KS3/4 Bubble 12th Nov 2020. Anyone who has been requested to isolate at home and is entitled to free school meals will receive a hamper on Monday 16th November. Work will also be delivered on that day however the Covid -19 section of the website has many links to online learning if your child can access the internet. A general letter to all parents of pupils not affected offering advice in this situation, but still requesting you to send your child to school is also found on the Covid-19 section and is called: Letter to Parents 12th Nov 2020 Please do not send your child into school if anyone at home is displaying any symptoms. we would advise you to get a test. Again thank you for your co-operation during this difficult time. Mr May
